ISO 17100 je mednarodni standard, ki določa zahteve za temeljne procese, vire in druge vidike, potrebne za zagotavljanje kakovostne prevajalske storitve, ki ustreza veljavnim specifikacijam.
S tem mednarodnim standardom kot ponudnik prevajalskih storitev dokazujemo skladnost svojih prevajalskih storitev z zahtevami tega standarda in zmožnost, da s svojim procesom dela in viri zagotovimo prevajalsko storitev, ki ustreza naročnikovim in ostalim specifikacijam.
Zadevne specifikacije so lahko naročnikove, od samega ponudnika prevajalskih storitev ali pa izhajajo iz ustreznih industrijskih kodeksov, priročnikov o najboljših praksah ali zakonodaje.
Certifikat ISO 18587
– urejanje besedila pri strojnem prevajanju
ISO 18587 je mednarodni standard, ki določa zahteve, na podlagi katerih je mogoče podati sklice na skladnost glede urejanja besedila pri strojnem prevajanju, in prilogo, v kateri je opisana storitev omejenega urejanja besedila pri strojnem prevajanju.
Določa zahteve za postopek celovitega urejanja besedila pri strojnem prevajanju, ki ga izvede človek, in kompetence urejevalcev besedila pri strojnem prevajanju.
ISO 18587 je namenjen za uporabo s strani ponudnikov prevajalskih storitev, njihovih naročnikov in urejevalcev besedila pri strojnem prevajanju ter se uporablja samo za vsebino, ki jo obdelujejo sistemi za strojno prevajanje.
